ABOUT US
Welcome
A warm welcome to the Friends of the RUH.
The Friends of the RUH provide amenities and comforts for patients and relatives which could not be provided by the NHS. We hope this website will give you an insight into the Friends Charity and we hope you feel enthused to get involved. We have many different types of Volunteers helping across the hospital, and apart from the satisfaction of helping others and feeling needed, there are so many opportunities it means that there is work to suit everyone’s taste. So if you enjoy working with people, like the idea of working in a shop or prefer to be outdoor gardening, there should be an opportunity that suits you.Rachel Sweet General Manager
